High above the celestial horizon, a melodic storm is brewing. It's as saintly as it is sinful, as sensorial as it is paranormal. It's miraculous, even.

One year after the COVID cancellation of the original IN CLOUDS, Moor Music and Leaps & Bounds are back with a sacrilegious sonic sermon of biblical proportions.

Resurrected and reimagined over 8 hours and across two spellbinding stages, IN CLOUDS will showcase the holy vanguards of Melbourne's underground music scene, with a procession of the city's highest-flying live-music angels and selectors performing in all their gossamer glory.

Enhanced by audio visual installations and live art performances, IN CLOUDS will take its disciples on a debaucherous journey to the un-holiest of holy places. Because it ain't depravity if it's defying gravity.

We'll see you on the other side.

CLAPS: are a firebrand of cosmic jazz energy, agitators of tradition and hot-headed jazz punks; an instrumental quintet that blends house, broken beat and drum and bass rhythms with unhinged jazz improvisation to create a dark, kaleidoscopic dance music experience. With members from The Rookies, Honey and Z.F.E.X. and an uncompromising search for a distinct and immersive sound, Claps pushes listeners and dancers out of their comfort zone and into heightened states of bodily perception.

KALACOMA: is a five-piece, experimental-prog outfit from Melbourne, Australia. Masters of Juxtaposition, live, Kalacoma fuses moments of intensity with blissful synchronicity, delivered with a vintage tone reimagined from the future.

FIRETAIL’s music spans from 70’s jazz-fusion, South Indian Carnatic music and Melbourne's very own brand of jazz-tronica. Formed in 2018 as a collaborative recording project, Firetail has developed an ambient approach to song-writing that blends soul-infused rhythms with evocative melodies and driving percussion.

ELAURA's voice- spoken or sung, English or Spanish, surfs through the world's chatter and gently invites you to take a breath & delight in life. With a hint of her mother tongue, a dash of RnB-infused Neo-soul & a sprinkle of sassy yet comforting real-ness, Elaura's live shows are a unique concoction.

😈😈 Chamber of secrets (Up stairs) 😈😈

Proto Moro is a Psychedelic Melbourne Jazz outfit comprising four beasts; Harry Leggatt aka Uno Lizard on Guitar, Jack Eden aka Madayana on Bass, Gene du Vergier aka Pearl E. Gates on Drums and Nikodimos aka Nikodimos on Woodwind.

Malla are a nu-jazz collective that fuses boom-bap beats, jazz harmony and chaotic soundscapes. Their music intertwines each individual's voice to create a liquid sound breaching styles of house, future-jazz and drum and bass. Their energetic live performance will transfix and transcend those around them into a sonorous dreamland.

EBIPHE: Naarm based six piece, lead and fronted by Composer/vocalist Phoebe Parsons, blend and introduce a heavy melting pot of sounds exploring neo-psyche soul, edging free ambient jazz, punk and hard driving boom funk, finally sprinkled with verses of spoken word and soul inspired vocals , birth EBIPHÈ. Jack Eden (Bass), Declan Peel (Guitar), Joel Segal (synths and keys) and Blake Hansen (drums).

Limp Biz is a rap rock band from the multidisciplinary artist area of Naarm / Fitzroy, Its lineup consists of Jordan Dempster (Fred Durst), Henry Barrett (Sam Rivers), Josh Olave (John Otto), DJ Lethal (turntables), and Harry Leggatt (Wes Borland). Having only played at renegade raves and boujee house parties, Limp Biz is set to take the stage for their venue debut, by popular demand of course. Welcome to the jungle punk, it's Limp Biz.........

POOKIE: not only employs her art work as means for self-expression but uses it as a vessel to bridge the gap between her experiences as a Black, African woman growing up in white society and how she navigates the relentless challenges of this society.

KGOMOTSO: Has been a Dj for 15 years, started as young Dj playing with vinyls in underground bars in Johannesburg , Pretoria. Capable of mixing and blending multiple genres like House, Hip Hop, Kwaito, Lounge, EDM, Funk, Disco, Jazz, Drum and Bass, Gqoom, Afro, Amapiano, Jazz Rap, Lofi. Played at Smoking Dragon, Bushfire, Art Basel, Carfax, YFM, Miami Winter Music Conference, Grahamstown Arts Festival etc

NayNay is a DJ from Naarm/Melbourne who specialises in various afro and Latin related sounds. Her Afrocentric taste explores Dancehall & Afrobeats to the realms of Amapiano, Deep & Soulful House, Funk and Disco. NayNay has made her mark in the Australian music scene in a very short space of time with appraisal from Triple J, PBS, and FBI radio. Performing in major events and clubs all across Melbourne, NayNay continues to showcase her love and passion for music constantly.

Amber Ferraro is an electric, vibrant and soulful DJ. Known for her killer vocals across Naarm in Nu Disco Band Honey, as well as Sunshine and The Disco Faith Choir, her musical skills glide across to the electronic world of Djing. Already in her short career she has spun to sold out crowds at The Night Cat, the opening of Abbots Yard and Renegade Rave - Into The Dark. Ambers style ranges from pumping Jacking House, norti Tech House and a few unexpected but tasteful breaks.

Heaving dance floors and sweaty raves are no stranger to Crozier who just closed out 2021 with the headline spot at Colour Club on NYE along side Melbourne legends MARSH LONG, WISER and SURANA. He recently wowed crowds at DUSK Festival alongside DJ JNETT, TEYMORI (DJ Set) and RBI as well as playing to sold out crowds at RUBIX Warehouse and The Night Cat.

This event is proudly supported by FOHP, City of Yarra and Leaps and Bounds Music Festival.
