Caisha Sprout, a Melbourne-based songwriter, brings a unique blend of blues, soul, and funk through her earthy sound, reflecting the Australian experience and aiming to inspire listeners from all backgrounds.
The brainchild of fiercely exciting Melbourne (AUSTRALIA) based songwriter of Indian heritage with musical fruit that stems from her own unique plantation of creativity. Deeply rooted in blues, soul and funk – Caisha Sprout brings an earthy feel of guitar, piano and vocals to make you feel her sound and connect with her lyrics. Caisha Sprout’s narrative is a story that is at the heart of the Australian story – an Aussie girl who is the daughter of parents who were born overseas and came to Australia and contribute to the amazingly diverse and vibrant Aussie community that we have today.
So many of the stories and songs that Caisha Sprout writes, unconsciously provides a glimpse into the outlook of an Australian in today’s society – and hopes to inspire many regardless of their background.
